tire defect

hi guys,

a little while ago I purchased a tire warranty from Discount Tire Co. today I received a phone call from SA claiming that two of my front tires have bubbles within the sidewall. Shortly after I spoke with Discount Tire rep who mentioned that my warranty does not cover this since bubbles where caused by an impact. there is no visible damage on any tires. It was my understanding that whenever there is sidewall damage, then it's the manufacturers fault.

have any of you guys had similar experience? do I have a sound argument here?

depends on the weather
it sure sounds like it is most likely impact damage but, any warranty you had to purchase should cover road hazards like that ... that's exactly what the purchase type of tire warranties are for

I had a simular experience on my Nitto's and with the Discount warranty they replaced them and I went with Toyo's for the replacement. I did have to buy new warranty's as I hope you know you don't just get 4 new tires for free.

PS this is the Certificets that Discount sells and not the Tire manufactors warranty right.
