BBS CH for W208 CLK55
Luke/Anybody:
I really like the way the BBS CH's look on the CLK55 (I might be the only one..).
My concern is that the BBS wheels are 18x8.5 all around and that means 225/40/18s all around. Aren't those kind of skinny for the rear axle?
The stock 245/40/17s go up in smokes very easily... can't imagine what the 225s would do.
I think the 8.5" wheels could actually fit 255/35/18s right? Is it really that bad to run 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 on four 18x8.5" wheels?
Thanks for any suggestions/recommendations.

depends on the weather
you have pointed out the two reaosns the BBS CH is not a popular choice for the CLK ..... putting different width tires on same width wheels isn't the best of ideas because of sidewall deflection differences and 255's don't fit the front of the car
