CLK550 Replacement Tire options
I live in NYC & since having the car for 5 months, i need to replace 3 tires already. 1 blew and 2 have bubbles. I was wondering if I would be able to leave the Michelin pilots on the rear & replace the front ones with another type, possibly all seasons (w rated not Y) would it effect the performance of the car, also what tires are suggested, as many say the PZero's all season, or KUMHO asx. I don't wan't to lose performance but I have heard many say that the michelins are not reccomended for NYC streets (potholes) any suggestions.

unless you are are doing some really serious performance driving or racing you will not notice a difference. However, you can experience less performance and less safety with summer tires in freezing cold weather because the rubber can freeze.
