Ordered 18" monoblocks+tires....some questions

Ordered 18" monoblocks+tires....some questions
Car: 1998 S320 (silver)
Wheel: (4) 18 x 8.5 AMG Aero II Monoblocks non-chrome
Tire: BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDWS
I ordered this package over the weekend to replace my 8-hole 16's.
With 18's, will ride be dramatically altered?
Any danger of rubbing? (our house has a slight incline at entrance)
Will I have to avoid potholes?
Would it be advisable to lower the suspension?

I guess I'll just live with the ride, it's a small price for the enhancement in the look.
Tires should fit, as I ordered rims+tires via phone from tirerack as a package.
I'll post pix when I can. The package arrived today, I hope I have enough time to get them mounted!

Got em! After they were installed, I decided I might want the car lowered a tad......I'll have to check around for costs. They look great, and ride was not affected at all (surprising! or maybe that's just b/c I'm extra careful right now) Here's pic 1 from at a distance:
