AMG CLK 03 Wheels for 03 E500??
I have a new E500. According to the web site, all wheels are 17 X 8 and the tires are definitely 245/45/17.
I found a full set of new AMG wheels and tires from an 03 CLK
The front / rear AMG wheels are different sizes than my wheels (this is standard on the CLK)
Front -- 7.5x17 (225/45ZR17 tires)
Rear -- 8.5x17 (245/40ZR17 tires)
There is also an E500 option for AMG Style III 5 Spoke Wheel with
7.5J X 17 ET37 225/45 R17 in the MB configurator.
I have a general understanding of wheel / tire sizes. However, NO understanding of how to judge how these wheels will work / look / perform on my car.
1. Will these wheels fit on my car?
2. Given that the wheels an tires are different sizes, will the look funny on the car?
3. Will this change the ride of the car?
4. will the from tires look smaller on the car?
5. Will the rear tires look too large?

I believe that the E500 W211 cars use 14mm lug bolts and the CLK W209 which is based on the W203 uses 12mm lug bolts. So they will not fit properly.
Even if the wheels fit the tires are the wrong size. They are too short.
