Winter tires
The local tireshop (my salesguy recommended me to go there.. NOT to his dealerrip's parts dept) mentioned something about the new Yokohama AVS Snow.... H-rated.
Any feedback? It'll be my first time buying wintertires.. I'm going to get some new rims to put on my allseasons and use my current steelies for winter.

And the more traditional "Q" rated winter tires here

The "Q" rated tires will offer more grip in the ice and snow than the "H" rated tires but, the "H" rated tires offer more dry/wet grip
We had Q-rated winters (Michelin Arctic Alpin) for our '01 C240 and it is mostly dry here in the winter. They felt really squishy.
I recommend Dunlop Winter Sport M2 and Blizzak LM-22 if you want H-rated. I am using both on our vehicles.
