Tire size for my 2003 c230 Sedan?

2003 C230k
Tire size for my 2003 c230 Sedan?
Im looking to get new tires (running stock size)and was wondering if i can use 245/40/17 for the rear without any problems. Im thinking i am going to use the stock size in the front 225/45/17. Any feedback will be greatfull

depends on the weather
225/45-17 front with a 245/40-17 rear is very common on a c-class
