I'm going to buy new wheels and tires and wonder if I need pressure sensors. Based on the owners manual it looks like only Canadian cars do.

If you have rubber valve stems you probably don't. If you have metal ones you might. It depends on the actual build date of your car. Also, if you go through your IC you should see a setting for it ; if you have it.

It should have it, you won't be able to monitor exact pressures, but if one of your tires goes low or high, a yellow light should appear on your dash.
