Help Please: New Rims for my C43
I have a '98 C43 with factory staggered rims (17 x 8 up front and 17 x 8.5 in the rear) I wanted to get 18 x 8.5's all around. Would this affect the ride negatively in any way?

I upped my wheels to a 18x8 and 18x9 and dont have that much to complain about. I lowered my car with H&R's and it seems that my front wheel is rubbing on pretty big dips. I cannot determine what the rubbing is exactly. On full turn, my wheels do not rub. BTW, I am running 225 and 255, F and R. My wife thinks that it is my front skid plate(?) that is rubbing. I am not too sure. I think it is inside my wheel well, but when I check no evidence of rubbing is there.
If you want to see what 18x8 and 18x9 look like, also lowered, go to C36/C43 thread section and click on the C55 thread. The orange C55 is the president of AMG Germany, I believe. My car is set up similarly, maybe even a little lower.
