Wheels and TPMS
thats how MB says that it works
Now... from my experiences, i have seen monitors take to a car without any programming... on MB and BMW.... I have no idea why, MB states that new monitors have to be programmed.... But i have seen them work, and not work...
lol... once i switched a left front and right front monitor... the guy had a flat on his right front and the car said left front??? I dont know how thats possable... inside each fender splash guard there is a small reciever that reads every time the montor spins past it....
Anyways... ask the tire rack guy... Tire rack sells OEM tire pressure monitors and they are less then getting them from MB.... and try them out....
It all depends whats cheeper? Buying new monitors and just switching wheels or having someone break them down every season?
If they are nice wheels, i would hate to risk damage on a tire machine every year...

to the OP ... just get a second set of sensors for the addtional wheels and re-learn the system when you put them on
