Luke,

I am just about to order the whole front and rear set of AKEBONO pads for my 2000 CLK430 from your site. The question that I have is: Do they come with the wheel sensors? Also my pads have made the Brake Warning light come on about 4 days ago and the pads are really low. Is there a way you can just help my package along with a little nudge out the door to get it out quicker? I ordered it 2 day delivery BUT, I just want to make sure that everything goes smoothly so that I can make the trip. I have to change my pads by Thursday so that I can drive on Friday to Houston (4 hour drive one way)?

Thanks for all your help on this forum!!

I ordered them last night but I did put your name on the order so that you can search for it.

Thanks!!

UPDATE: I just looked at the tracking info and it has not been shipped yet? I tried calling quite a few times and got the answering machine. I know its gotta be really hectic there with all the orders but can you please check on it. I thought ordering 2 day would have it here by Wed night since that would be 2 days but since it hasnt been shipped it will now be here Thursday if it gets shipped on Wednesday. I know I am sounding a but like a pain LOL but I just want to make sure that I get them in time.

Monday at 10:20 PM isn't really counted as the order day as we were already closed ... but, according to FedEx tracking you should see them on Friday

Luke,

I just wanted to let you know that the pads all came in today and that the Akebono fronts did end up coming with the sensors after all. I just wanted to let you know in case someone else asked about it as well.

Thanks for your help,
Greg

are the sensors prone to failure? i ordered a set of a different name pads and sensors were not included. if they are prone to failure when re-using, i will buy a set of sensors from the dealer.

i believe only the front brakes use these wear sensors.
