Looking for a new toy.
O.Z Ultraleggeras installed on SLK55

Fitment is great, no spacers required, MUCH lighter (9-10lbs) than stock, and they even showcase the brakes nicely!

Those are the ones that do not come staggered correct? I remember looking at that and not liking that...wish they did.

Timeless - nope, no staggered sizing, 18 x 8's all round. But that works for me as I was looking for lightweight (without paying an arm and a leg) first and formost. O.Z does make the Superleggera in staggered fit though, but they're also about 5lbs per wheel heavier. Depends on what you want of course.

I understand completely...was just thinking of how that would look on the E55...My car seems a bit big for those.

Want to sell your old rims? So you downgraded your rears width from 8.5 to 8? What tire sizes are you running then?

Going to hang to the stockers for now. Yup, 8" all round now, but still with the staggered tire size - fit is fine.

Because that's the widest they make the Ultraleggera's for SLK fitment. And since, as I stated above, I wanted lightweight as a priority, that works for me .

This is a very good looking European Style choice. Looks great, without the bling, and you get away from the OE, as delivered look.

In the post above you stated that the the tires are still staggered, so are you running the stock 225/40R18 fronts and 245/35R18 rears?

thanks
