Just cracked an authentic Brabus VI mono on a vicious pothole. OTOH, I actually bought rim insurance and I was informed by my dealer that they are covered. Has anybody collected on rim insurance.How much of the $2200 can I expect to get back?

I had the same thing happen a few months ago and the wheel/tire insurance I bought from the dealer covered 100% of the wheel and tire. They originally wanted to fix the rim (it was cracked on the inside) but I wanted it replaced and they did. They paid the full amount. There is a limit on the total payout on the lifetime of the policy, I think its 4 or 5000. But its still better than going through your own insurance and paying a deductible.

Depending on what rim insurance the dealer sold you. Typical insurance will cover $400.00-$500.00 per wheel up to total of $2200.00 (in this case). Some insurance will cover all.
