C-class 17" 5-spoke wont fit on non-kompressor?

2001 model. It came with 16s and Im trying to install the 17s like these:


However my friend says the rears wont move. Its hitting the brakes or something similar. I wasnt with him but I'd like to get these installed tomorrow so I need to know what I should get. Just a spacer? Id appreciate the help. thanks guys

depends on the weather
most common cause of what you are descriing is the lug bolts being too long. In the rear of the car if the bolts are too long they interfere with the parking brake
