How wide can I go??

I am looking at upgrading to a 19" wheel on my C63.

I am looking at OEM AMG 16 Spoke wheels that are 19 X 8 F and 19 X 9 R

Can anyone tell me what is the widest tire I can put on the front 8" wide wheel using a 35 series/profile tire? 235 or 245?

There was a great chart posted here at one time that showed Min/Max sizing for all wheel sizes but I have searched and cannot locate it.

Any advise would be appreciated.

thanks for your time

Weve actually done some 19's with 245/35 PS2s up front with no problem

Alex--HELP!!!

Alex---

I'm stuck in a similar boat....I found some 19" tsw snetterton (for a 2005 c55 amg) which I was told that based on the f/r offset and design it would fit perfect im also looking to either use the Nitto Invo or the Vredestein ( I dont do any racing only hit the gas ever so often so im looking for comfort and I have read that either one of these tires are the way to go) is that so??? my other dilema is that apparently Nitto doesnt make a 265 width (in the invo) but they have a 275/35 in the rear and a 235/35....would that be TOO wide for the 19in rim??? I dont want to run into rubbing issues...Otherwise the Vredestein setup would be 245/35/19 and 265/30/19.....which one would be a better set up???

I'm currently running 225/40 and 255/35 on the stock AMG18s and there seems to bee PLENTY of space left with the original AMG suspesion and thats what makes me ask this lenghty question....

Im in dallas so I would also like to check you guys out some time this weekend (sat)...is that doable???

thanks!!!
