Best fitment for AMG style VI 18" (C63 standard wheels)

Hi Guys,

Need some advice for buying tires. Car is C300 and rims would be AMG style VI 18/8.0/ET45 front and 18/9.0/ET54 rear. The one that came standard in C63 car.

Most important is comfort (and road noise), then handling came second. Have been browsing around and currently considering Goodyear F1 assymetric based on tirerack reviews. Would this be the best choice for the most comfortable tires currently available?

How about size? I like perfect square sidewall edge. But if I must choose, rather very slightly too wide than slightly donuts on the side.

Manufacturer website: http://www.goodyeartires.com/eagle/e...sym_sizes.html

Thanks for reading

depends on the weather
I personally would opt for PS2's given what you said you wanted and run a 225/255 size combo

Hi Luke,

Hope to get your advice again. One thing catch my attention, your suggestions 225/255 seems to get closest overall diameter, but why they put 235/40/18 up front (in C63 as standard)? while the rear remain 255 instead of should be 265 to get closest total diameter.

Thank you for your time
