Rims and Suspension for c320

I have 01 c320 and I need to get some better rims and I need to drop it too. I just saw these rims on ebay, they look like they are Carlsson 1/16 replica? But they are 18's - Front 18 x 8"- 35mm - 66.6cb / Rear 18 x 9" - 38mm - 66.6cb. WOuld this offset work? From what I see w203 owners mostly use 19's. Do some of you think that 18's on w203 are small or should I go with it?

Also what lowering springs would give me the most drop, I'm not talking about coilovers, just some springs.

Here is the link for rims: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-8-...spagenameZWDVW

depends on the weather
specs listed would work and 18's are more common on W203's than 19's

I would stick to Eibach or H&R springs. H&R springs drop the car a touch more than Eibach (by 0.1" - 0.2"). You can also change out the rubber spring shims to alter the ride height. There are 4 thicknesses (8, 13, 18, 23mm). Of course, the thinnest one will cause the car to sit lower. Remember lower height means more negative camber and abnormal inside tire wear without an alignment. Low enough and the alignment becomes difficult. Might want to check about alignment parts before lowering the car. If you have the Sport model, just changing out the shims might do the trick without a lot of hassle.
