Load Ratings - Safe?
Luke,
I'm moving up to 20" rims for my '03 E500.
I'll be running
245/30/20 90Y XL
285/25/20 93Y XL
Are my load ratings OK?

depends on the weather
for those sizes on a W211 XL/RF tires required and you must maintain higher
tire pressure levels of 42psi for proper load.
but your sig says 19" wheels???

Luke, I have 20" rims on order, and the tires I'm looking at have these load ratings. I noticed that, in general, the load ratings among the various tire brands on this 20" tire size are lower than what I have now on my 19" tires.
What do you mean by XL/RF? Does that mean the tires in my initial post are OK, load wise?
Thanks
