w208 amg offset question

Hi,

Quick question.

I have 19x8.5 ET35 Front
and
19.x9.5 ET 30 rear

Will these clear the AMG calipers on a w208 clk55?

Like I tried to explain to you in your PM, it's NOT all about offset when you are trying to clear BBK. There's also what's called X-factor (the curvature of the rims).

To give you an example:

You are probably familiar with the Brabus Monoblock VI replica wheels. There were 2 major manufacturers of this wheel. Both were +35 for the rear. The Monet rear wheel would clear Brembo BBK, however the ALT would NOT (due to the fact that the spokes were bowed out like crazy)....even though the wheels had the exact same 19x9.5 w/ et+35 offsets.

The only way to find out 100% if your Sevas will clear your AMG calipers is to call up Sevas and ask them directly......or if you are lucky, contact a fellow clk55 member who actually had those rims on his own car before.
