Kudos to TireRack...
I received my Sumitomo tires today from TireRack. At first I wasn't sure about buying tires and paying for shipping, but the benefits are there. I received the tires in four days. Discount tire and Evans tire needed a week or so to order these same tires.
The cost savings isn't huge, but I like doing business with companies who are knowledgeable and offer great customer service- that is a benefit of capitalism in my mind. So kudos to Luke and Clint for helping me out...
-Discount Tire's price- $800 dollars.
-TireRack's price - $650 shipped, plus I'll spend $70 - $100 dollars for installation/balancing-- my math says I saved money here.

Always has been the other way around for me. Discount Tire also offers a road hazard warranty that replaces the tire, not a pro-rate like tirerack. I will look into tires and compare from both of them to see.
