Weights of tires
If the concern is unsprung weight, and you spend a lot of money for lightweight yet strong wheels, what about the tire weight?
Obviously, your tire selection is based on:
1. Cost
2. Ride quality
3. Handling quality
4. Noise
5. Durability
Everyone seems to love SO3s, but I read that these are some of the heaviest tires made. So, you can spend $1000s extra for lighter wheels and it's thrown away for a marginally better tire that is way too heavy. Is there an easy place to find for comparing tire weights?

Re: Weights of tires
Start with the tire company's website of the tire you're interested in. Four times out of five, they will have the weights of the tire (in the size you're interested in, too) listed on their site.
Tire Rack generally will also have that information as well, as will Edge Racing. I don't know about Tires.com, I've never comfortable asking them technical questions.
