Waiting time for WORK Varianza wheels...?

Found a set of wheels I like but the Dealers are all telling me they are custom made in Japan and the turn around from order to delivery is anywhere from 8 to 16 weeks... I really am not thrilled at the thought of waiting that long to be honest but after looking at hundreds of wheels, they are pretty much what I was looking for and I got a good price from one particular dealer which was much better than all the others... The wheels are WORK Varianza Schwert SC1's or SC2's, Polish with Black Accents for a Platinum Blue E500 with 20% dark tint.... I think they'll look nice but are these wheels worth the wait...? I know there's a few W211's on this forum with WORK wheels, how long did you have to wait...?

12 - 16 weeks for the wheels just doesn't fit into the plan so I bagged the idea of WORK Wheels for nwo and bought something else...

The wheels are indeed custom made in Japan, but the reason you are having to wait so long is that they have to wait for enough orders to fill an ocean container to ship. We bring small pallets by air 2x per month, so our typical lead time is about 6 weeks.

It may cost a little bit more, but in my opinion it may be worth it to shave 10 weeks off the wait time. if you are interested PM me or email peter@wheelexperts.com

We have been quietly dealing Work wheels for 8 years already....
