I am replacing my stock beat up silver Lug Bolts on my '05 E500 4-matic with a chrome plated version... Problem is, it seems all the website references I've seen claim the stock lug bolts should be 14mmx1.5mmx25mm... However, they take a 17mm impact socket to remove and they measure more like 23mm along the threaded shank... Can't find anything in the owners manual about Lug Bolt specs... Is there a definitive source or reference to tell me what lug bolts to buy to match my stock ones...? The only marking on mine is the MErcedes Benz star logo on the lug bolt head...
