Stock '04 E320 wheels on a '99 CLK?

OK, so I'm thinking of doing some wheel swaps and upgrades between our cars.
- Will the 17" factory wheels from an E500 fit onto our 2004 E320?
- Will the 16" factory wheels from our 2004 E320 fit onto our 1999 CLK cabriolet?

If they do fit, will I need to get special lug bolts or spacers? I guess I could simply park both cars side by side and try it out but I thought I'd ask first to save the work... any thoughts?
