Put 22's on my ML63 & alignment, now cars pulls while breaking!!!
Just put on a set of CEC wheels on my ML63 and had the car aligned and the car pulls HARD to the LEFT when braking. Basically if you brake slowly it will pull slowly to the left, if you slam on the brakes, it pulls hard to the left. Hard enough that it is unsafe/scary!
What can it be? I'm going to take the car back to wheel shop on Friday but have no clue what the cause can be but hope its something simply.
Also, with airmatic is their anything special needed to do an alignment? Just curious if the alignment can cause this problem...

does this only happen in the left lane? Try it in the right lane or on a non crowned road. My old IS300 did this really bad and I learned it was the tires. Switched to all season tires and it didn't do it anymore (no alignment needed)

I have been using Toyo Proxes STs different size and they perform flawlessly. Check tire pressures, swap rims from front to rear and then from side to side to check if it still does the pull to the left. If is still going on, check your alignment using a different shop to double check if is trully alligned. I once aligned my car in a shop and they threw the whole thing off by a lot. Took it to another shop and comfimed my suspicions and was aligned properly. Remeber that your safety is first and foremost so even if you need to take it to another shop and pay out of pocket is better than getting hurt or crashing your vehicle. In wet conditions should be a nut case driving a car like this !!!

this could also be a suspension problem check all of your suspension out to make sure everything is bolted on correctly and nothing is bent anywhere. ive heard where a car was pulling due to a bent a arm

I dont think it is suspension since it was not pulling on you other tires. 265 is small in my opinion for a 22x10 rim. Stock on my 350 is 285x17 this sounds like ur putting tennis shoes on ur truck. The other thing to check is rim offset, also swap tires as previously mentioned rt to left fron to rear to see if the pull is worse or gone.
