these are very inexpensive but were rated high by an overseas magazine.

anyone run/ran these?

Yes have them on my SL with AMG's and they are the best tire I have found out of any tire besides the YOKOHAMA R compounds..

I have raced at most tracks in cali, and driven everything from porsches to vettes, to ferrari's etc, and this tire's straight line stability,
cornering, switchback, and G performance is awesome and it has really excellent wet to huge water channels.
