Hi All,
I am a total newbie and need help from you guys in selecting tires for my car.
I went through the Tire selection thread posted by Luke :
https://mbworld.org/forums/wheels-ti...4-27-07-a.html
and still could not make up my mind.
I am a total newbie, I need help finding tires for my 2006 C230 Sport RWD. I would not be driving in snow at all. I just need something that is basic and not very expensive. I don't care too much about performance. I am an average driver. Here are the things that are important to me in order of priority:
1. Handling/Safety
2. Cost
3. Less noise
Besides MBworld, I would be only using consumer reports website for ratings. Can you guys suggest tires & if possible, the best place to get them here in Northern California ? Maybe I'm asking for too much .. but i will try. Please be kind. This is my first post. Your help would be much appreciated !

welcome!
Since you're not going to race with it I'd suggest you look into Nexen N3000. I'm on my second set. They're quiet, got decent grip, and really cheap even cheaper than kumhos. Do some research there are lots of positive reviews. I'm sure many here would disagree with me

depends on the weather
given your stated tire needs you should check out the the Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31
