CLK500 AMG Rims: What R they worth?
I may be selling a set of the wheels that come standard on the US CLK500 - The AMG 5-Spoke.
What are these wheels worth ?

That's about what I thought. I purchased my 03' CLK 500 used with about 3k miles on it. One of the things the salesman kept boasting about was that this car had $4,000 wheels on it. I didn't think that any factory wheel would be worth anywhere near that.

Brand new the rims are worth more a little more than $1,000 ...
the 17" sell for about 1200-1400 online
It depends on what size they are ... also many times when a dealer talks about the value of something - they are quoting the actual retails price ... and very often they include the cost of the expensive tires that are part of many 18" or 19" wheel upgrades.
You could always go to www.tirerack.com and price out your exact wheel and tire package - as they carry AMG.

I checked out the tire rack and they don't carry the exact wheel that is on my car. The closest set goes for $1,200. My wheels are:
Aluminum-alloy Standard AMG ultrathin-spoke monoblock design.
7.5Jx17 front
8.5Jx17 rear
I would be happy if I could get $1,000 + shipping for them. As soon as I get my new wheels, I will adv. these wheels in the classified section.
