Differences in Continental ContiSport 3's
Hi,
I've just bought FOUR new Contisport 3's from Tireack...
Now does anyone know for sure what the difference is between the Mercedes version as apose to the regular old ContiSport 3's .... Non Mercedes?
I mean TireRack say they are not told, so has anyone examined either to find out the difference..
Merc ones are 30bucks more expensive a piece on the fronts and a dollar cheaper a piece on the rears... It's too late for me now anyways as i've already gone with the regular contisport3's instead of paying the extra $60 for the merc ones, but i am very curious though...
It is just a Mercedes logo on the tire wall or something else?

Continental engineers do not release the changes made to the original design of the tire it is proprietary information held between them and the Mercedes engineers involved.
All tire companies keep are hush-hush when it comes to tires altered for a specific vehicle application.
