W210 Estate rear suspension
1998 E class estate = 98,000 miles.
Rear self levelling suspension units are leaking - no major loss of fluid yet from the reservoir but major bumpiness. One unit was replaced 6 years ago at vast cost. I dont really need self levelling.Is it possible to replace both with the standard units and tap off the hydraulics, leaving pump in place etc. ? Will there be any electronic problems ?
Alternatively, who can supply new s/l units at a fair price in the UK ?
