How are the new Pzero Nero Pirelli tires. How quiet would you rate these tires. Thanks! Also how bout the Bridgestone Potenza RE910? Thanks.

 

I bought the PZero Nero about three months ago. Although a sidewall bubble recently developed (see my post elsewhere) I don't fault the tires. My CLK430 was delivered with the MXX3 which I replaced with the Pilot Sport. Unfortunately I mounted the Nero in October and live in the DC area so I can only give an impression based on winter conditions. Like all high-performance tires they are garbage in the snow. But overall, I am very happy. They weren't terribly expensive, remain quiet and have a lot of tread left after 4 months and about 7000k miles. Wet handling is noticably very good and performance in the dry is as good if not better than the Pilot Sport in my opinion.
