17X8 +35et on a W220?

Looking around I see this size listed as an option on tirerack.com but from searching, I found a lot of offset info listed that leads me to think they may not work. Lug length could also be an issue, I quess.

The car is a '00 S430 with the stock 16in wheels still on it.

I had these on a W201 that went the way of the dodo. Pic of wheels attached for viewing.

If they will work, what size tire would round out the package?

Thanks,

Sam

depends on the weather
while the specs of 17x8 ET35 would work that wheel, if from a w201, is designed to use 12mm lug hardware and the S430 uses 14mm hardware

Thanks, Luke.

Oh well... Anyone want some wheels for their W201? Chip on one but otherwise clean. On the road for about 1k miles tops.
