AMG SL55 wheel/tire combo..

im considering to get the AMG SL55 wheel for my c230 SS (06)... if im going to get this, what's the best tire size/tire brand? also, since my car is stock, im wondering if i need to replace the sway bars and get an aftermarket shocks to get it lowered... or, does the wheel/tire set looks okey without the sway bar/shocks replacement?

If you are going to run authentic AMG SL55 wheels on your W203, you may encounter some issues. First off, your W203 uses factory 12x1.5 lug hardware and the R230 SL-Class uses 14x1.5. So, you'll need some custom lug bolts that are 12x1.5 with a 14x1.5 radius for the ball seat portion. Secondly, the R230 SL-Class runs a lower offset than your W203 so you're going to need a custom widebody fender flare kit of some sort or the wheels will sit outside your fender line.

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
Methinks he's probably just ...

talking about the AMG "style" copy that looks like the 19" PP wheel. It's available in lots of diameters and offsets.

SL500 on W209

I saw some SL500/600 wheels with that kinda twisted star design FS. If I wanted to install on a W209, would I have similar problems?

Yep, you would have the same issues going from the R230 to the C209 or A209.
