Rims and Tire fitment

I have a 05 C240 with stock suspension
Looking to get some new rims and tires but have questions. i searched the forum and now I have more questions. The rims are chrome 18" with a 32 or 30 offset, my choice. Which would be better, not sure I want to try and stagger them either? For tires I see several post about using 225/40/18 up front and 255/35/18 in the rear, why different sizes, is it alright to use the 225/40 all the way around? thanks

The staggered setup is more aggressive. You can use 225/40R18 all around on your `05 W203 if you want (assuming that all 4 wheels are the same width). Regarding the offset, it will depend on how wide the wheels are. The people running 225/40R18 and 255/35R18 are of course running staggered width wheels as well.

either of those 2 offsets will work fine. Since you have a c240 you don't have the bbk up front to worry about. Are you planning on lowering the car? if not then the 2mm really wont make a big difference. The reason people use 2 different size tires for front and rear is, they use 2 different size(width) wheels. For the w203's most people use 8 or 8.5 up front and 9.5 or 10 rear

The rims are 8 wide! Which would have a better look without having to do any mods to the fender or suspension, the car isn't lowered. I would think that 30mm would bring it closer to the edge of the fender, am I right?

Yes the +30 offset will push it out a bit more than the +32. Have you thought of getting them in an 8.5 with a +32 offset?
