Q for Luke? E320 suspension mod!

I am planning to upgrade the Koni Sport and H&R springs on my 2002 E320 Special Edition (currently has 235/45WR17).
Q1. Do I need a 4-wheel alignment after the suspension upgrade while keeping the existing wheels & tires?
Q2. Any recommendation in terms of pads choice? Not sure what I have right now.
Also interested in the Carlsson 2/5 Brilliant Edition in 18x8 & 235/40YR18 S-03 for the front and 18x9 & 265/35YR18 S-03 for the rear.
Q3. Do I need another 4-wheel alignment if I made the 18" wheel & tire purchase after the suspension upgrade? Or just direct replacement?
Q4. Is there a significant handling advantage for the staggered setup given a moderate power output in an E320 engine?
Q5. Does the rear tires wear out faster than the front in a rear drive vehicle? In a staggered setup, do I need to replace all 4 tires when it is time for the rear even though the front has more tread left?
