Tires for an E55, help..

Tires for an E55, help..
I just purchase some wheels. 20x10 and 20x8.5. I was told that I could run 245/30/20 and 285/25/20 without having to modify my fenders. Is there ANY possible way I might be able to fit a wider tire out back without modifying my fenders or rubbing?
Also, what tires would you recommend? Are the Nitto Invos a decent tire for everyday driving? If not, what would you recommend? I am new to the 'Benz world and would like to do it right the first time.
Before I mount the wheels I will be ordering a RennTech ELM, I won't slam it, just decrease the fender gap.
