How to repair curb marks, scratchs, etc on alloy wheels yourself?

anyone DIY procedures? shop charges quite a lot

If they're only on the outer lip and not too deep, you can use varying grades of fine wet-sanding type paper. I use to do this on my 300ZX, start out with 500-1000, 1500 and finally 2000 gritt paper (wet). If your patient and take your time, you can blend it in so close that you'll never see it.

Unfortunately, this only works with minor "oh ****s"
