c230 sport coupe suspension question
Just bought a 2003 c230 Sport Coupe and am looking for shocks and struts. The problem is that when I go through the parts catalog it has different parts numbers for either the sports or non-sports suspension. I have no idea which one I have.
Called the local Mercedes dealer and they couldn't answer my question but did give the OEM part number for the front struts according to my VIN number. The part number they gave me was 203 320 67 30.
How can I tell which suspension package I have?
Thanks

I'm in the same boat.
What's confusing is that some after-market manufacturers have different part #s for sport/non sport suspension, some don't. I think the sport shocks are a little shorter, but I'm not sure.
I still have the window sticker for my coupe and it reads:
Front Suspension: Sport 3-link Fully Independent w/ Torsion Bars
Rear Suspension: Sport Multi-Link w/ Gas Pressure Dampers
This makes me believe it has the sport suspension.
The way it handles, however, makes me think it doesn't. I've had the car since 30k miles (has 80k now) and it never felt like it had "sport suspension".
I was also given that same part # for the struts from the dealer based on my vin.
