Went to 235 from 225, now humming!!

I had 225 45 17 on my car but suggested by tire shop that it's OK to use 235 45 17.

Now there is humming/whinning sound as I drive. What should I do? Go back and demand they change back to 225?

Thanks.

1. Overall height of a 235/45-17 is 25.32"------225/45-17 is 24.97.......This alone may cause an ESP malf due to circ varience front to back

2. The noise is not from the tire size, but more likely for cheap tires and poor tread design.

I am for sure going back to get 225 45 17.

Many people change to larger rim/tire on this board, they don't have this problem? Their ESP does not malfunction?

Will it damage my car if I stay with 235 width?

I know if speedo shows 60 mph, I am actually doing 60.9 mph.
