2019 E-450 Wagon
Need advice on best "compromise" tires for an E-Wagon.

Living and driving in SE Florida with lots of rain, wet traction is important, so is threadwear/longevity, third priority is price, then dry traction, then comfort and last and least: Performance:

Based on the above, what would be a good compromise tire?

Right now the 2004 E-500 wagon has some kind of low profile Continental performance tires, 3 are good the 4th one is bad/almost gone.
Planning to buy just one tire of the same brand/type, then let 'em all wear down with plenty of tire roation.

(Some tire guy told me the roads in Florida contains crushed coral and are harder on the tires than ordinary asphalt..True or false? )

In the long run however I need to find tires that suits my needs better.

The original size was 245/45-17 and I pretty much plan to stay with those, not looking to dolly up or hot rod the car, just use it as a daily driver...In the rain..

Discount tire lists the above size from $66.00 to $317.00.

Not looking to go with the cheapest, but a good mid-price H rated tire would be my choice.

Any recommedations?
