Uneven Wear on my Rear Tires

I noticed that my rear tires (both summer and winter) are worn unevenly. The center groove shows more wear than the outer grooves.

I was in a tire store a few days ago and the guy said that he saw this a lot in Mercedes cars. He asked for my tire pressures which are 30 (front) and 33 (rear). He said that I should put 35 PSI in the rear. This is strange because the wear pattern shows over-inflation, not under.

What do you think? Should I add more air to the rear? 30-33 is the recommendation tire pressure.

My car is 2004 CLK320.
Summer: 225-45-17, 245-40-17
Winter: 205-55-16, 225-50-16

Based on the tire wear, I should probably lower the tire pressure.

How about 29 (front) and 31 (rear) ?

Why touch your fronts if the wear is even?

The MB recommended tire pressures are
Under 100 MPH: 28 (Front) - 29 (Rear)
Over 100 MPH: 30 (Front) - 33 (Rear)

It seems that if I lower the rear, I should lower the front as well. So, I am thinking 29 - 31. Any suggestions?
