Best wheels under $1,000
Been looking to aquire a set of wheels. Most of the sites that sell wheels for luxury cars post "call for price" which we all know is code for "call for reaming".
So far HRE, Vossen, and Mandrus are my top three. Anyone got any suggestions?

The Mandrus are the only ones you won't have to "call for price" on in your 3 choices. You can probably get into a set of Mandrus for around 12-1300.00 depending on what size you want, 18, 19" etc... Mike

The Vossen stuff that I have seen...
from friends and customers looks really good for the price. I don't know what size you need, but $1000 is probably a little light for some 20 inchers. They are cast, and made in China, but the finish looks extremely good and the designs are nice looking. The Mandrus stuff looks pretty good too, some applications better than others. Mandrus is a specialty line of TSW, which also has some nice looking wheels that don't cost a fortune. Also, don't forget the RS 63 that lots of folks use here. Nice looking wheel for a reasonable price. Not $1000 for 20" though.

And I wouldn't do it unless...
I did 20's. The 19's just dont' give you the visual impact. If 19's are what you want, I'd do a set of the AMG 19" like the 07/08 SL55/CLS55/63.
