Conti CrossContact LX vs General Grabber HTS for 1999 ML320
So I have had my 255/65 16 Michelin Cross Terrain SUV tires on for about 6 years now and they have served me well. Time to switch tires. Looking for:
More comfortable quieter ride than the old Michelins
Better wet weather/snow/ice traction
at least 45k of tread life
Conti CrossContact LX or General Grabber HTS? The Generals look kinda ugly from the sidewall and the ML originally came with the Grabber ST's which I hated (loud and rough ride).

depends on the weather
Why not go with a new set of Michelins ??? they offer great ride quality and low road noise
Latitude Touring is the new one and it's a great drive
The General and the Conti are pretty good out of the gate but their ride quality fades as the mileage adds up

Thanks, I hated the Grabber ST that came with the ML. Those def faded as they wore. The Michelins have stayed pretty good even almost 7 years later. Don't drive the truck much anymore, only for around town and the occasional trip.
