05 E55 Winter wheels on a 98 E320

I have a 2005 E55 Wagon with a set of 18x8 MSW Type 12 wheels with 245/40-18 Blizzaks on them.

We just bought a 1998 E320 4Matic Wagon and wondered if those wheels/tires will fit. Sure would be handy as we're going to park the E55 in the winter.

There are several threads regarding offset and tire sizing. Some have posted that the offset is in the acceptable range but you will need different wheel bolts. W210 uses 12mm whereas W211 14mm. HTH

It does, as it completes the picture. I got a response to my email to Lee at Tirerack that the wheels fit and the tires are one size too large, but 'might' fit. I'll just have to try them.

depends on the weather
Unfortunately, while the offset and width are compatible the w211 chassis wheels use a 14mm radius ball seat and your w210 uses 12mm hardware ...

I believe RAD makes 12mm bolts with 14mm radius ball seats ... do not install them with 12mm bolts with 12mm seats ... it could get real ugly real fast
