Unhappy Wheel people...please help

....I just purchased some wheels for my 430CLK and after putting them on heard a click and grind from my back end....then the car hung up. Moved forward and the car hung up again......felt like the parking brake was still on. I decided rather then hurting things any more...it was time to stop and pull the back wheels (never moved the car more then18 inches.) There was no rubbing and the only thing I could think of was that the bolts were too long.

The bolts seem to go far deeper on the new wheels then on my stock.....my questions:

1. Is it possible that my stock bolts are too long?
2. If the bolts are too long, is it better to get shorter bolts (even for the front,) or get spacers in the back?

need to know things:

front 19x8 offset 32
back 19x9 offset 35
HR Sport springs.
Bilstein SP

TIA!!!!

bolts are too long. Same thing happened to me, forgot that I needed longer bolts. Don't drive on it for now, pick your stockies back on. If you keep driving you're going to do serious damage to your parking brake.

Not so. The AMG Monoblock II wheel has the following offset:

Monoblock II
17X7.5 et35
18X8.0 et31

Yes, your bolts are too long. Take out your bolts and compare them with your stock bolts, see if the actual screw area is the same, if yes, you can just bring the new bolts to some metal shop and ask them to cut them for you. But if the screw area is shorter than the stock ones, then you should get another set of bolts from tire shops.

I dont think you need to do anything with the offsets/spacers.
