Can I use 17" wheels on a E350 with sport package that came with 18" wheels?

2009 E350 4matic sedan
Can I use 17" wheels on a E350 with sport package that came with 18" wheels?
I have a 2000 E430 4matic with 17" wheels and 4 snow tires with wheels. I'm trading up to a 2009 E350 4matic with sport package that has 18" wheels and tires. I want to know if I can use my 17" wheels and snow tires on the new car.

No. The lug bolts will be the incorrect size. Maybe even the offset.
