Hello,

I've just bought a W203 C180 Kompressor.

I have a set of CLS63 20x8.5 copies that I had re-drilled to fit my old car (Lexus IS200).

I was told when selling the Lexus that the wheels could be put back to fit my new W203.

Anyway,

After selling the Lexus and going to put the wheels on the W203 the wheel shop says that the offset is wrong as the wheels were originally to fit a W204.

Do the W203 & W204 have a different offset?

Is there anything I can do to get these wheels to fit or am I up for another set?

Yes, I've discovered, sadly, they do. W203 has a smaller offset than W204 and also different size bolts (M12 on W203, M14 on W204). I don't have numbers for 20" wheels but here's a comparison for 16" and 17" wheels:

C-Class W202 16x7 ET37
C-Class W203 16x7 ET31
C-Class W204 16x7 ET43
C-Class W204 17x7.5 ET47
C-Class W204 17x8.5 ET58

The difference between W203 and W204 is pretty large. It's in the right direction for a spacer, but it would be a big spacer.
