Question for Luke about Carlsson rims
Luke,
I know that Tire Rack does not have these anymore, but what is the correct rim size (width, offset) for the Carlsson 1/6 silver rims in 18" for a staggered setup for a MB W202? The tire sizes are 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear. Also, what is the bolt pattern for these rims? thanks.

I would guess that the wheels are 18x8 and 18x9 with a 31 and 35 mm offset. That is the common size for replacing the 17 x 7.5 and 17 x 8.5 inch mono's on a C43. The bolt pattern is 5 x 112.

Luke, many aftermarket 18X8 front wheels come in et35 for MBZ. I am using 18X8 et35 and there is absolutely no room with this small 4mm inward change from OEM 18X8 et31 and 245/40/18 tire. I had to remove the Nitto 555 (broad shoulder) and use Dunlop 9000 and when steering is fully turned and the suspension is compressed it rubs on suspension bolt.
18X8 et35 up front needs 235 width up front even on E55. With that in mind it seems impossible to run 8.5 width with et32 or et35 and 245 up front.
