Luke: Staggered wheels on 2010 E350 4matic
Luke,
A buddy of mine wants to put my 2008 C63 wheels + tires that were 235/40/18 and 255/35/18 on his 2010 E350 4matic.
I've done some searching and there are mixed comments regarding staggered wheels on a 4matic and how the transfer case might be affected because of the different rotations that will occur with running different diameter wheels + tires.
What are you thoughts about this? Will there be an issue? The E350 came with 245/40/18s.

1) Diameter on the tires is too small affecting speedo and odo
2) Need to keep no more than 3% different between front and rear. 255/35 is smaller in diameter than 245/40. Better bet for rear would be 275/35.
