I need to replace 2 sets of tires. I have a set of 19" rims for every day driving and my stock 18" AMG rims for track days.

I am thinking of getting the Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 or the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 for the 19" rims as my every day tire.

For my 18" race tire I am thinking of getting either the Yokohama Advan A048or the Toyo R888.

I am thinking that tread life and grip would be similar for each but would sacrifice a little life for better grip.

Anyone have experieces with these tires?

the AD08 can out perform the pS2 in the dry but, tread life, ride quality and wet grip the Michelin wins easily. For the track set up the A048 is a very good performer as is the Pilot Sport Cup

My everyday tire was the Toyo R888, ya I know, anyway I figure that I'll get much more tread life with either the AD08 or the PS2 but wanted to keep the drop off in grip to a minimum. I'm in LA and hopefully the rain is out over for the year so I may go with the AD08.

One quick question. When you say tread life, are we talking an extra 5k in miles or more like 1-2k?

Do you have the Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 in stock? I need 235/35/19 for the front and 265/30/19 for the rear. I have been told by everyone that they are on nationwide backorder.
